“Reinventing Travel in the New Normal” is the theme for ITB Asia 2020 Virtual

Travel during the COVID-19 has been impossible. Governments across the world are advising against travel, and they aren’t promoting tourism. You must only travel if it is unavoidable. The face of the travel industry is changing, and it will undergo a tremendous change in the post-pandemic world.

ITB Asia Virtual has announced its theme for this year, “Reinventing travel in the new normal.” The virtual event will take place next month. It will be a three-day-long event, which will have 120-sessions.

The event’s agenda has been specially curated to help travel industry professionals navigate through the current challenges. It is going to help travel professionals deal with the ongoing changes in the industry and find new ways to thrive.

It will be hosted on ITB Community, which has over 1,500 community members and over 400 buyers subscribed till date. The managing director of Messe Berlin (Singapore), organizer of ITB Asia, Katrina Leung, said that the event would help the travel industry to deal with recovery. Until now, the event has recorded 1000 confirmed exhibitors, said the MD.

The keynote speakers will talk about the upcoming trends in the travel industry. Katrina said that the industry professionals should focus on the trends and methods that will help the travel industry to navigate through this tough time.

She also informed that the 3-day virtual event would have six core themes of corporate travel – MICE Show Asia, Travel Tech Asia, destination marketing, hotel revenue and distribution, tours, attractions, and activities.

Reinventing travel in the new normal theme is relevant to the situation today. ITB Asia is going to play a huge role in shaping the future of travel, so this event will contribute considerably towards its growth.
